What’s Our Story?

Indiana is a place that many of us call home. We’re not here because we “settled”, but rather because we chose this as the place that we want to work, run our businesses and raise our families. We are blessed to have some of the finest universities in the country in our state, and the quality of life is extraordinary. But to many, Hoosiers are misunderstood. Assumed to be limited to farming and rust-belt industry, the innovations that take place across our great state are often overlooked or ignored.

We are a group of people that believe there is a tremendous brain-trust in Indiana that results in ongoing, successful innovation. It is those that do the hard work of critical thinking, problem solving and risk taking that are going to elevate the economic base within our state and lead to world class organizations able to compete on a global stage.

Our goal is to utilize the Indiana Innovation Awards as a platform to recognize and celebrate these efforts. By bringing attention to innovation excellence, our hope is to change the current perception of Indiana, and help recast it as a place where innovation is nurtured, promoted and implemented.
